Makoto Ozone: TRiNFiNiTY

In November 2025, jazz legend Makoto Ozone played his first Heinersdorff concert and received an overwhelming response from the audience. This year, he is returning to the Tonhalle in the company of two brilliant musical partners. As rising stars of the Japanese jazz scene, drummer Kunito Kitai and double bass player Shimpel Ogawa joined Ozone when he decided to found a trio under the sonorous name of TRiNFiNiTY. After releasing a debut album showcasing their rhythmic drive and inspiring virtuosity, the three artists went on to perform at jazz festivals from Tokyo to Melbourne. Here in Düsseldorf, the trio will be serving up its very own cocktail of easy grooves and sophisticated sounds in a feast of jazz for fans of all ages.
